Traditional Worship at Fairmont

Fairmont’s 10:30 AM traditional worship service is welcoming, reverent, and filled with wonderful music. This service is held in the Sanctuary on the upper floor (turn right at the top of the stairs). Hymns and the Chancel Choir are accompanied by our pipe organ and grand piano.

Following a welcome, Liturgy is led by lectors, traditional hymns are sung, a unison Prayer of Confession is offered, and we have special music by our Chancel Choir and soloists. Our pastors lead the congregation in the Prayers of the People and the preaching of God’s Word. The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated once a month, usually on the first Sunday.

Join us as we joyfully praise God in Fairmont’s beautiful Sanctuary!

Children are always welcome in worship! Children’s worship activity bags can be found at the entrance to the Sanctuary. During worship, children are invited to come up to the front of the church during the Time with Children if they like. Afterward, children ages 4 through grade 5 may walk with their teachers to Sunday School (September to May) or stay in worship with their families.

While children are welcome in worship, Nursery/Toddler care is available for our youngest children, newborns through age 3. It is offered from 10:15 AM to 12:00 PM in the lower level of the building (turn left when you enter from the lower parking lot). The Nursery is a secure, allergy-free room and volunteers are fully CPR/AED/First Aid certified for infants and children.
