Casual Worship at Fairmont

Fairmont’s casual worship service at 8:30 AM on Sundays offers an opportunity to worship, praise, and thank God in a relaxed setting in Fellowship Hall (up the stairs to the left). The casual service is warm and welcoming. Many enjoy this service because they appreciate the contemporary music, others come because they are early risers or have hectic Sunday schedules.

Music is an important part of the casual worship service. The Praise Band leads to the congregation with vocalists, electric keyboard, drums, guitars, and harmonica in upbeat worship songs.

One of our ministers gives the sermon from the floor, not from a stage or pulpit. The sacrament of Holy Communion is served once a month, usually the first Sunday of the month, and all are welcome. Children stay with their families throughout the casual worship service.
